Joyce Wayne (facilitator) is an author, editor, and educator. She was the trade editor at Quill & Quire, the editorial director of non-fiction at McClelland and Stewart, and the publicist for James Lorimer & Co. She is the recipient of the Fiona Mee Award for literary journalism.
For twenty-five years she taught at Sheridan College in Oakville, where she was the head of the Journalism program, Director of the Centre for Internationally-trained Individuals, and the faculty’s representative on the Board of Governors.
In 2014, she published her first novel, The Cook’s Temptation. She writes a regular column for a Canadian bank and is working on a new book.
